✨ Committee Spotlight: the Shop Cody Committee (formerly the Cody Events Committee) is a group of volunteers who coordinate community events. It is their goal to provide quality events that promote Cody's unique cultural heritage and build community, while also driving local shopping and drawing out-of-town visitors. Last week, the Shop Cody Committee gathered at Altitude Açaí to plan for bringing back an old favorite: Downtown Cody CRAZY DAYS on August 7-8!

One of our regulars found out about my dad passing and my mom getting sick this summer and brought us a little gift 📖🥹❤️‍🩹

Owning a small business has taught me one of the hardest life lessons:

It’s amazing how quickly one negative comment, one difficult customer, one slow day, or one mistake can outweigh the hundreds of smiles, kind words, loyal customers, and victories that came before it. Somehow, our minds want to hold onto the 1% of the bad instead of celebrating the 99% of the good.

Today I’m reminding myself to focus on the 99%.

Here’s to choosing gratitude over discouragement and remembering why we started in the first place. 💜
