Well, I must say flower day was a success. We hit three nurseries which was a blast. It was a beautiful day! We hit Meadowview, Maple Shade and Groffs. Lunch at Kreiders and amazing strawberries. I so needed the colors, the fresh air and best of all friendship. Going with a friend and sharing it all is what makes it special for me.  Plus I found most beautiful flower and has an amazing smell. A new favorite let’s hope I can grow it passion flower.❤️💐💐💐💐💐💐💐

Taking the day off to go do some flower shopping. I have always had a garden since I’ve been able to have the pleasure of living in the country. This photo on the right was probably taken 16 years ago. I think it was the first garden I had in this house. Looking forward to doing some planting, even though it might not be behind the grand scale of my garden anymore. 💐💐

This is the kitchen where I was raised. Philadelphia row house, a straight through. That’s my mom on the phone. Another view with grandmother(Bubbie). This was taken before my mother updated in the early 60s. Venetian blinds, which is what they were called, were still on the windows. Phone still had wires but thank goodness we had paper towels. Just a little snapshot, but it says so much! ❤️

Two assortments ordered and so different. That’s why I try to offer as many flavors as I can and change things up occasionally. Here are some flavors, but not all of them. What’s your favorite flavor? I’m curious to know and who knows you might see it on my new list of flavors. Is it 🍒 cherry 🫐 blueberry, 🍊 orange, 🍓 strawberry , 🍌, banana. Good morning! Our lady friends were out bright and early this morning. A little shy at first, but then they started telling their friends and the whole crew came out. What a pleasure to come out and see the cows, the bunnies, and horses. And for those of you have been following my bird stories this year. Sometimes I get carried away when you pick up and tell you stories. But I finally got a peek at the little finch babies. In the nest on the door, on top of the wreath, are little red finches. There are at least two in the nest and there were four eggs so hopefully more.

So, is Thursday. I get to post some memories. Here’s one from 1995. I won first place in a very large competition, judged by some very big chefs at the time. It was sponsored by the Willow Grove mall in Montgomery County. I had never won anything before. This was for my amaretto cheesecake. I was so stunned when they called my name. I can’t even remember walking up to the front to get my prizes. That’s how I get. When I get nervous. I won a set of Chantal cookware. I also won dinner at a fancy restaurant that I can’t remember the name of and some good press. This Cheesecake has a very special place in my heart.. To this day, it is still my favorite.
I do also have a change in schedule. I will be available for baking next week. Things have been delayed. Work that’s being done on the house till the following week. So get your orders in now. It’s gonna get crazy. Thank you.❤️

Just a few announcements! I will be baking this week if you would like to reserve a box of minis or a Cheesecake. Next week, I will not be baking due to some renovations that will make it impossible to do pretty much anything. Then I will be on a real vacation the week of June 20. I am really looking forward to that because both my kids will be there and grandchildren and even my niece and her family. We have never done anything like this and I hope to make many memories playing in the sand with the kids in Rehoboth Beach.
In July, I will most likely be in North Carolina. I just wanted to keep you posted on my comings and goings, so you all can order accordingly. This week is good though so I have to hear from you. Thank you so much.
By the way, I always like to post a photo of myself not because I think that I’m more special than anyone else, but it’s just a reminder that it is me and not a robot posting.
For some reason, it gets people’s attention I hope and they can see it’s a woman owned business, and a woman worked business. From the conception to the baking and to doing all the dishes. It’s me.❤️

Have a wonderful Memorial Day! If you didn’t get a red white or blue Cheesecake for Memorial Day don’t fret there is always July 4th coming up and this summer is a great time to celebrate our country any day. It is the 250th celebration of our country. There are so many red white and blue Cheesecakes and cakes to choose from!! ❤️
