Thank you to everyone who came to Suncrest Gardens this weekend! ❤️

It’s been a full three days here at the farm—right in the middle of peak harvest season, when hundreds of pounds of tomatoes, peppers and other produce are rolling in each week to be roasted, preserved and tucked away for the months ahead.

🌻 Friday night brought so many families and familiar faces back to the farm. We couldn’t have asked for nicer late-summer weather, and lots of beautiful U-pick flower bouquets headed home with you. 🥰

🎶 Saturday we tried something a little different with our first all-day Groovin’ in the Gardens. The wind didn’t cooperate for the hot air balloon, but there was still plenty happening around the farm! We supported some wonderful local musicians, gave a few farm tours, enjoyed local nature photography from Dale Schaffner, watched the kiddos ride the Waumandee Lions train, and generally had a good ole time together.

Best of all, we were able to donate $500 to the Cochrane-Fountain City Area Food Shelf from the day. ❤️ Thank you for helping us make that possible.

💍 And today, Sunday, we wrapped up the weekend by celebrating Tyler & Katy as they were married here at Suncrest and shared a meal curated largely from the farm.

Three very different days, all in one weekend—and a pretty good picture of what late summer at Suncrest is all about.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the first Groovin’ in the Gardens! Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

🕚 Live music: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM
🍕 Wood-fired pizza & beverages: Served all day (pizza orders taken until 8pm)
🎸 Four live bands, featuring OUTLAND as our evening headliner
📷 Local Nature Photography Display, 1–3 PM — Dale Schaffner will be sharing his beautiful collection of animal and nature photographs captured right here in our area, on display in the barn.
🌽 Co****le tournament @ 2pm
🌱 Guided farm & garden tour @ 3
🚂 Waumandee Lions Club Wagon Train — a fun evening ride for the kiddos! 5-7pm, maybe more!
🎈 Hot air balloon launch (weather permitting) @ 5pm

✔️ A favorite lawn game, deck of cards, book, sketchbook, or art supplies if you’d like to relax and get creative

📋 Know Before You Go

• Admission is $10 per person. Kids 12 & under are FREE!
• Stop at our ticket station in the circle driveway as you enter the farm.
• Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for as much—or as little—of the day as you’d like. Stay for an hour or spend the whole day—the choice is yours!
• Take time to wander the gardens, explore the farm, and enjoy the beautiful Mississippi River bluff views between performances.
• Outside food, beverages, and carry-in coolers are not permitted.
• Service dogs are welcome; please leave pets at home.

We’re donating 10% of all wood-fired pizza sales during Groovin’ in the Gardens to the Cochrane Fountain City Area Food Shelf, helping provide food for local families in need. Every pizza you enjoy that day helps make a difference.

Summer is at its finest on the farm right now—and we have a full weekend ahead!

🌽 The Sunshine is loaded with pesto, mozzarella, fresh sweet corn & sweet peppers.

🥗 Thai Crunch Salads are back with Napa cabbage, pea shoots, cilantro & chives, crunchy peanuts and our peanut dressing.

🍹 And our Summer Sips are pouring: Huckleberry Mojitos, Raspberry Lemonade and Blueberry Lavender Mules—with NA options, too.

🥗 Our Thai Crunch Salad has returned! Crisp Napa cabbage, fresh pea shoots, cilantro, and chives, served with crunchy peanuts and our house-made peanut dressing. It’s the perfect light pairing with a wood-fired pizza.

🍕 The Sunshine Pizza is back! While The Boss takes a short vacation, we’re bringing back this bright summer favorite featuring pesto sauce, mozzarella, sweet corn, and sweet peppers.
