If you've been a customer of Blackwater for a while, you might recognize this OG barista, especially if you're a frequent weekend visitor...

And for those of you who don't know - this is Mia.🖤Mia has been with us here at Blackwater for 2 1/2 years and is going on to celebrate her 3rd anniversary with us in October.

You're looking at one of the most hardworking people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Mia works with us on the weekends and works at during the week. This girl stays BUSY. 🤩

When she's not working non-stop, she can usually be found with her nose in a book or in her kindle. All of us here at the shop use her as our own personal library because her collection is extensive. At least one of us at any given time is borrowing a book from her. 📚️ She has even taken up sharing her love of books with the rest of the world through her book account

Mia is truly the best of the best. She comes in to every shift with a smile on her face and usually a hysterical story about one of her Huskies. 🐶 She is one of the kindest coworkers and an even better friend to all of us here. We have been nothing but blessed for the past 2.5 years with her on our staff.

Tropical Breeze Lotus Energy🌴🥥

It's the drink you order when you want something refreshing but still need that boost of caffeine! Plus - it has some of our most summery syrups: guava, lime, and coconut!😍

This drink is made with White Lotus Energy which is a plant-based energy base using natural caffeine sourced from green coffee beans. Think the base of a redbull, but a healthier alternative!

Our team has grown so much over the past couple of months and we are so happy to be introducing Jessie this week. 💕 Jessie has grown into such a top tier barista over the past few months! Here's what her leadership team had to say about her:

"From the moment Jessie started at Blackwater, she has always been looking for the next task to tackle. She just has initative built into her. Jessie is constantly asking "What can I do to help?" which not only makes her the best coworker, but also makes her one of the best people to serve Clovis in the Blackwater way. When she's not at work she's most likely working on art commissions in which she is SO incredibly talented at. As you can see, she's arguably the best dressed barista on the floor at all times. We love Jessie SO much."

"I have nothing but great things to say about Jessie. She's a hard worker who always comes through for her coworkers. Whether she's picking up shifts, or just checking in to see how you're doing. Not only is she a great barista, but she's also an extremly talented artist and we are so incredibly lucky to have her on our team."
