Well well well, hello there August!!!
A dump bc it’s been a minute and the last couple months have been a grand ol time haha! From beach vacays, running near the water, summer PD’s post wkout, one thing imma do is stay active with my fist in the air! 💪🏾😜
Summer as an educator means more time to do the things. Rest, hang, rest some more, travel, hang, rest and repeat. This has been my summer and I must say, it has been one for the books. It’s important for me to allow myself time to unwind, let go, and just be. BUT, it’s all soon coming to an end lol. I’ve got 21 days until I’m back to my 430 rise to get to wk in time. So, let’s get back on track. 😉
My goals this month have shifted and are challenging me in ways that are a little scary but also, giving MAJOR in the end.
For me, focus is hard lol. I get easily distracted in my 30 plus years lol and this causes me to get off track with different aspects of life.
I’ve found that tracking/journaling, and actually writing down the goals with the “how to” of those goals, REALLY help me accomplish things (both fitness and non-fitness related).
What are your goals this month? Anything u want to accomplish by the close of the year?

Ayyyyeeee!!! Crushin tings every single day baby!! Happy Friday’s Eve!! 💪🏾😜
These are just a few sweaty selfies over the last few days! I luh dis, and summertime means I GOT time! Haha Some days I double up with an added jog, I STAY walkin, and I’m heavy on the nutrition, but also heavy on livin my entire best life giving grace where needed. 🙌🏾😏
Finding a balance in summer is really hard lol, but maintaining physical activities bring me so much joy and at the end of the day help me maintain my happiest healthiest, strongest self. For that, I’m so grateful.
I encourage u to gone an getchu some movement in. Never have I ever heard someone complete a workout and say “man I’m so mad I did that to myself”. That feeling of completion and accomplishment is what I live for! 💪🏾😜
Thanks again for continuing to support KK’s! It means so much to me! We willl be doing a repeat of last weeks prep. So be on the looks. There may be a Saturday distribution instead of the normal Sunday. I will keep u posted! 😊

Just so u know, I crush these wkouts eryday baby! And this week I’ve felt so empowered in my poses and legit stronger as I’m slangin these weights like an entire warrior princess! Haha
Gone an getchu some movement in on tuhday if u haven’t done so just yet! Hit the gym, take a stroll, complete a challenging wkout off the tube, jog it out, ride in the wind….whatever suites u best. Get it done, your body and mind will thank u, promise! 🤞🏾🙃

Saturday, Monday, Tuhday. 💪🏾😜😤
First pic is with my youngest niece. She knows how important “exxsuhsizin” and movement are to me. She tags along here and there and I love that she is able to see me go hard in these wkouts asking “Auntie does that hurt?” lol As I struggle to push thru a burn or a difficult move. Makes me proud to know she sees that it’s possible, even when it’s hard.

Happy July!!!! My goodness hooooowwwww are we over halfway through the year!!???
A quick dump bc it’s been a minute and summer is in full effect! I’m a little more active in my stories but, here is a glimpse of some goodies I’ve had over the last few months.
I STAY in the kitchen haha and I think it’s safe to say my favorite meal of the day is breakfast! Haha anybody else love a good egg scramble with some good toppings??? 😏
I’m pescatarian so lots of these pix have all the seafood lol. I also dabble with the veggie tings too. There are also a bunch of flex pix too! I’m so grateful for my Beast Body accountability group. Aside from The Squad, they hold me down and help keep me stay consistent. The summer means no more 430 am wake ups 🙌🏾🙌🏾 so we aren’t virtually hitting play together anymore. But! Tho we aren’t working out together, we damn sure make it a point to check in and share a sweaty selfie after we’ve crushed it. For that I am so so grateful. 🙏🏾

Happy July!!!! My goodness hooooowwwww are we over halfway through the year!!???
A quick dump bc it’s been a minute and summer is in full effect! I’m a little more active in my stories but, here is a glimpse of some goodies I’ve had over the last few months.

1st food pic: seared tuna steak with sautéed kale with a high protein toast.
2nd food pic: an all time favorite snack, vanilla Greek yogurt topped with granola and strawberries.
3rd food pic: plump seared scallops on a bed of cauliflower rice with all the kale, peps, and onions. Seasoned with smoked paprika, chipotle chilli powder and garlic. My gawd my gawd! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
4th food pic: sautéed oyster mushrooms with kale and tomatoes over an egg scramble
5th food pic: Smokey, spicy pepper salmon with a side of broccoli
6th food pic: scrambled eggs topped with sautéed shrimp, onions and peps on a bed of spring mix. I added toast to this but it’s not pictured. .The remaining pix are of me after crushing a workout. I’m so grateful for my Beast Body accountability group. Aside from The Squad, they hold me down and help keep me consistent. Peeeeeeeeeace everybody! It’s been a minute so let’s discuss! Just in case u didn’t know, aside from fitness and prepping, I’m a Special Educator and have been for almost 10 years. The bulk of my experience has been in 6th grade but last summer I decided to switch things up COMPLETELY! 😏😎
I needed some new new so I accepted a job in a new school, new state, and a new grade level. You are now looking at a kinder/1st grade Special Educator! 🤯 My responsibilities are new, my role is BRAND NEW, and I’m being forced to flex muscles I didn’t even know I had. This move has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I’m proud of me for jumping out there and welcoming the “new” in a mighty way.
With that being said, I have been exhauuuuuuuuusted!! 🤪🙃 I’ve been intentional about prepping for myself. But dedicating time to do it for others has been super challenging. I often feel there just isn’t enough time in a day. Just me?? 🥴
But don’t u worry your little heart. I’m working on finding balance and creating something that works for me while keeping u in mind. It’s gonna be dope promise.
Your continued support, inquiries, shout outs and such do not go unnoticed. I’m truly grateful and want to return the love. Stay TUNNNNED!!

Issa This is 30 FINE! (35 😏) I posted these pix in The Squad after yesterday’s 30 minute glute burner. Never have so ever posted a pic of me in some little baby shorts and a sports bra for all the world to see. I have no idea what I’m doing lol. But I am legit the most confident that I’ve ever been in my entire life! 🥰🥰😜
These photos are a representation of so many things. I’m grateful to be where I am physically but more importantly, mentally! I’ve shared with you what I do to stay physically fit. But what I didn’t know is that while focusing on my physical health, my mental health would benefit in a mighty way. I’m lovin me in all this body oddddyy! This includes the cellulite, the rolls, the fupa, the thick thighs and alllllll the curves! All of me is super dope and while the external is to die for, the internal is exceptional! I’m excited for all that is to come!
-This is joy
-This is self love
-This is dedication
-This is consistency
-This is growth
-This is peace
