Freddy’s Bar & Grill was established in October of 2010 by beloved local musician, the late Fred “Freddy” Craprotta. Freddy’s Bar & Grill has become a staple of the Eastside’s local music scene, which was his lifelong dream. Freddy’s dream, as well as the friends and family who are committed to carrying on that legacy, was to create a neighborhood pub that embraced live music and the musicians who create it.

Thanks to all you, our loyal supporters, we just took it up a notch for our dearest Freddy by being voted THE BEST LIVE MUSIC BAR IN METRO DETROIT!

We stand proud today knowing just how proud he would be. Thank you to every customer, musician, and especially our staff for helping us create this incredible place where we all feel at home!
