All of us at Mario’s Restaurant & Pizzeria are deeply saddened by the passing of Councilman Bill Gibson. Bill was more than a public servant — he was a familiar face, a loyal customer, and someone who truly cared about our city and the people in it.
For many years, he served our community with dedication and pride, first as a police officer and later as a councilman. No matter the role, Bill always carried himself with kindness, respect, and a genuine love for this city.
We will miss seeing him at Mario’s and sharing conversations with him. He was part of our extended Mario’s family, and his loss will be felt by many throughout the community.
Our heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Bill’s wake will be held tomorrow, Monday, at Allwood Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
