🍜 Some of the BEST RAMEN IN QUEENS?! 👀

I’ve been craving a good bowl of ramen and after hearing HinoMaru Ramen in Astoria recommended more than once, I was curious.

📍HinoMaru Ramen / 33-18 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, Queens, NYC

This Michelin recognized ramen spot has been serving Astoria since 2011, with broths made from scratch and tonkotsu that simmers for hours.

We tried the honey glazed rib ramen, but the UNI RAMEN was the surprise favorite 🤤 Creamy chicken broth with uni, cod roe + Parmesan. Truly one of one! I could eat this over and over and over and over again.

They also have great cocktails like the Tamarind Margarita!

I will argue with anybody that Jamaican food is one of the BEST cuisines on this planet 🇯🇲🔥. When Jamaican food is done right, NOTHING is touching it.

Ocookshop did not disappoint! From the Jerk Chicken fresh off the grill and 60 POUNDS of Oxtail cooking in the back, to the creamy Rasta pasta, Curry Goat, Curry Crab Legs, Fried Chicken, Festivals and more. That steam table was STACKED.

And I know Jamaican spots get a bad rep for mac and cheese, but THIS was Divine 😭. The food was GOOD!

I ❤️ seafood boils so much, I might just turn into one 🦀🦞🦐

Finally made my way to Ben's Crab Oceanside in Oceanside and they did NOT disappoint. I’m super picky about the sauces and they have the SAUCES down! Because we all know a seafood boil is only as good as the sauce it’s swimming in 😮‍💨.

From the Cutwater cocktails, Big Don and Little Don, to their soft-serve margarita, they get an A+ for creativity and presentation.

Now when it comes to seafood boils, I’m very much go hard or go home, so I got a few different bags and a combo with snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp, corn and potatoes. And this is a BIG boy, definitely one for the table.
