For all my Ohio City, Downtown, Tremont friends: don’t forget Constantino's Market - Warehouse District is still in the warehouse district. I love a small family owned business. They reinvest in the community, their children share the same schools, we see them at our local spots. They help build a better community.
Speaking personally, they chose to carry my product before the hype of being on the Food Network, Pro teams including Yankees.. celebrities and co brands with rock stars. I said “ you will never make your money back on selling my product”. The owner replied “ I see the world as socialist- capitalism. Plus, my wife likes your products.”
How could you not want to support a place and a family that truly does the right thing. I know instacart and costco and all those things sound more convenient and may even think you get a better deal. After gas driving.. the up charges on instacart are insane and now new lawsuits that they charged for delivery when offering zero delivery.. you are better off supporting local.
Ever try to call those places and corporations with an issue? They are all sent overseas until you give up.
Personally I like going in to a place that remembers me and my orders. Community is making a strong comeback!
