Manages all functions of a Jimmy John's restaurant to ensure customer service and high-quality products are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability when the General Manager is not on duty. Responsible for the successful ex*****on of fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service while maintaining a clean, organized shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manages a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees. Assigns, oversees and evaluates work. Recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of employees based on performance.

- Provides on-the-job training for new employees.

- Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft.

- Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food.

- Forecasts food items. Estimates what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift.

- Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty. Assists inshoppers during rush periods to ensure the maintenance of restaurant efficiency.

- Assists inshoppers in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling order and checking for completeness and correctness.

- Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service.

- Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.

- Completes daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).

- Completes Closing Procedures.

- Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.

- Completes daily and weekly paperwork.

- Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.

- Receives and stores product.

- Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness.

- Completes preventive maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies.

- Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.

- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

- Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues.

- Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.

- Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).

- Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.

Special Requirements: Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license.

Tired of driving all over Cleveland? Tired of sitting and hoping to get a delivery. We pay base pay plus. Let's hook up. Deliver some sandwiches, how hard can it be. Must be honest, and reliable. You can make some quick cash by knocking out a few quick deliveries. Lunch time drivers needed NOW. You can start this week. Must have valid drivers license and insurance. *I will give you a $100 bonus at the end of your first 90 days work (min. 15 hr. A week).

Stop in any day Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 2:00 and ask for Person in charge

**Delivery Drivers get paid by the hour every two weeks and get paid tips and mileage everyday. Yesterday I worker from 11:00 to 1:30 2.5 hours.. I made $30.00 in tips plus base pay $22.00 plus mileage. This equals approx. $22.00 an hour. Some days are better, some not as good but always decent. So again nice money, easy shift, and not too much wear and tear on your car. ALL DELIVERIES ARE APPROX 5 Min. Drive. Less than 2 miles.
This was a great part time gig that my last driver loved but due to a change in his full time job can no longer work during the week. His loss is your opportunity.

General Managers

Assistant Managers
Assistant Managers help oversee the day-to-day operations of a Jimmy John's restaurant with a positive rock star go-getter attitude, leads by example by executing systems and procedures with 100% integrity in a fast paced environment. Huge potential to advance as the company grows.

Duties include:

· Ensuring all systems and procedures are followed and maintained 100% at all times

· Making and preparing all food for the day by following our recipes exactly, including baking bread, prepping vegetables and slicing meats.

· Managing staff of up to 15 people during your shift

· Managing and controlling labor and cost of goods sold

· Estimating sales forecasts

· Making sure the store is staffed appropriately to ensure outstanding customer service

· Training and coaching employees

· Assist with the day to day operations of the store by making sandwiches, answering the phones, taking orders, running the register, collecting and handling cash. Always making sure the customer is taken care of first.

· Completes opening and closing procedures with 100% integrity

· Completes all paperwork required to keep track of sales, labor, comps, forecasts, etc.

· Performs other duties as necessary

Assistant management salary ranges from $11-$15 per hour*

General Manager salary ranges from $695-$900
