A full weekend off? What’s that?!?!

We haven’t had one in a bit and we’re sitting in the front porch talking about what to do and we had some visitors show up. Then went to let the dogs out and had more on the side of the house. Man, I love where we live 😍

We have a very wet weekend ahead so it’s looking like lots of rest and relaxation and catching up on some admin work while in pjs 😃

Alright y’all….its going to take a little bit longer than anticipated to get a local pick up option on the website, so in the meantime, we have a solution.

Starting next Thursday, we will have a small selection of our nuts and pork rinds out in Caroline‘s farm stand that is in our parking lot. You can call us and do a pre-order for specific flavors that you want, we just don’t have space to put them all out there. If you call and we don’t answer, please leave us a message and we’ll get back to you the next time that we are there to take your payment and let you know when they will be ready for pick up .

I’m so sorry it’s taken us this long to get this handled, but they are finally available for our local folks.

When we started really talking about closing our store front to focus on wholesale only, it was a little scary. When we actually did it, it’s was super scary!

Now 3 months later, it’s has proven to be the best decision for us as our wholesale continues to grow.

We’ve been sitting on some news for a few weeks and haven’t shared because it was only a verbal. But today, we just got the official in writing news that Gourmet Goodies nuts will be in 2 Herschand Family entertainment parks for the 2027 season! This is HUGE for us.

We will be in Silver Dollar City and Dollywood 🤩🤩🤩

This has been a dream retailer since we started really pushing wholesale last year and it’s happening!!!

So very grateful ☺️

I was talking with a friend recently about this and thought others could use a little reminder….. you’re on your own timeline. ❤️

I found my career at 28. Twenty years later, I changed careers. At 51, I started a business with my husband while still working that 2nd career.

There have been times in my life when I’ve watched other people reach goals and wondered if I should be further along. But their milestones don’t take anything away from mine and I’m exactly where God intends for me to be 😃

You can start over. You can try something new. You can build a life you love at any age.

The to-do list is never ending when you are growing a small business and you wear all the hats.

At the shop on Sunday prepping everything for another busy week and so very grateful for the orders God blesses us with each week.

We just hit store #75 this week and it’s still so surreal that things that we make are sold in multiple stores/states.

The goal is 100 by the end of the year! Bill casually mentioned this goal earlier this year and I wasn’t sure we could pull it off but we have a chance of hitting it 🤞🏻

We are so thankful for each of you that likes, shares, orders and sends good wishes. We see you and feel your support! The first step of the website changes are done and we are still working on the local pick up option for you and should have that up and running soon.
