Primo started with love.
When Michael came home after a decade serving in the Army, we reconnected as cousins in a season filled with faith, food, games, and long creative conversations. With Michael’s heart for service and Tristan’s background in marketing and recipe development, those conversations slowly grew into a passion — and eventually became Primo Boba.
From the beginning, we knew we wanted to build something that felt like us: a brand shaped by our love for God, our love for people, and our love for making delicious things with care.
As Christians and Puerto Ricans, family means everything to us. So when Tristan’s dad — Michael’s TĂo Guillo — suggested the name Primo, it instantly felt right. In Spanish, it means cousin; in English, it points to something of the highest quality. That double meaning became the heart of our brand: rooted in family, shaped by culture, and created with excellence.
Before Primo Boba, we worked together growing a gluten-free snack company. That’s where we learned how much it matters to make products people can trust — not just because they taste good, but because every ingredient, recipe, package, and detail has been thought through.
That mission became personal after health issues made gluten, lactose, and garlic impossible for Tristan to have. We wanted to create something for people who know what it feels like to check every ingredient, ask every question, and hope there’s something they can enjoy without worry.
So we built Primo Boba with premium drinks, creative flavors, thoughtful packaging, and ingredients we stand behind. Primo means the best — and that’s what we’re working toward in every drink, every bun, and every detail.
We’re proud to serve Central Florida with something clean, creative, and made with purpose. More than anything, we’re grateful to serve God and help others enjoy the good gifts He gives us — good people, good moments, and delicious drinks.
Life is delicious.
