I made a strawberry and vanilla cake with fresh strawberries in the center and homemade buttercream frosting for the 4th of July. Well I guess the cake was too tall. I had to smash the lid on and fix it when I got to our destination. Sometimes things dont go as planned but the cake still tasted great.

Mesh Om Ali or Crinkle Milk Pie. It's in the Baklava family but made with cream and not a sugar syrup. Finish it with a cinnamon dusting. You can also add nuts too. It's best served warm but can be served room temperature too.

I've been baking all weekend. So far we have the banana, blueberry and pumpkin breads done. Dark and milk chocolate fudge is done and packaged. The famous sugar cookies are done and packaged. Maple Sriracha is jarred and ready. This was only one days work. I'm not done yet.
