It definitely wasn’t the way any of us wanted to start the day, and it’s never fun having to close unexpectedly due to circumstances beyond our control. But at the end of the day, a missed morning of business is something we can recover from. What matters most is that everyone involved is safe.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and the messages checking on us this morning. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the accident and the crews working to get everything cleaned up and restored.

We’ll be opening at 11:00 AM for lunch today!

Unfortunately, we won’t have our Chicken & Dumplings today, but we WILL have our delicious Apple Butter Glazed Fried Pork Tenderloin ready to go!

A chicken truck was involved in an accident this morning and knocked down power lines, leaving us without power. Because of the outage, we’ll be closed until lunch while we wait for power to be restored.

We’ll keep everyone updated and are hoping to be back up and running by lunchtime. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

And yes… only in Clermont can a chicken truck take out breakfast service. 🐔⚡😂

🍦🐄 Three Little Heifers on the Loose! 🐄🍦

We took a quick break from work and headed over to visit our awesome neighbors at Mountain Fresh Creamery. These three little cows enjoyed their ice cream so much that the sugar kicked in and the silly faces came out! 🤪🍦

Safe to say the ice cream got two thumbs up… and three goofy tongues out! 😆

Well folks… we had a full-blown Meatloaf Crisis of 2026 this morning. 😅

Unfortunately, our meatloaf didn’t make it to lunch, but we’ve called in a very worthy replacement!
