Newman Hall is home to spaces like this auditorium, our very own production facility, our R&D lab, and our friends at Clemson Blue Cheese. Throwback Thursday: Back when Clemson was an all-military school, upperclassmen tricked hundreds of freshmen cadets by claiming the freezers broke in the creamery and ice cream was free. They all sprinted out of the mess hall with their milk pitchers and waited in line for hours only to be disappointed to find out the creamery’s freezers were still working. They may have been pranked, but they did get a spot in Clemson History. This photo from 1939 showcases this prank in action!
