Our burger bar may only be 10x10, but it’s packed with history, amazing customers, and a team that works hard and has fun doing it. We have customers from all over Texas—and even around the world—who walk through our doors every day.

What we’re looking for:

✅ Food Handler’s License (or willingness to obtain one)
✅ Customer service or restaurant experience preferred
✅ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Happy Father’s Day from 1949 Burger Bar ❤️

Today, we’re taking a moment to honor all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, bonus dads, and father figures who have helped shape our lives.

From all of us at 1949 Burger Bar, we wish you a very Happy Father’s Day!

We’ll be closed Sunday so our team can spend time with the father figures who mean so much to us. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our little burger joint.

We’ll be back at the grill and ready to serve you first thing Monday morning!

Not weird at all — it actually looks like a cross between a BLT and a burger melt. The avocado gives it a fresh California-style vibe.

I’d call it something like:

🥑 The California BLT Burger

Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, creamy avocado, and a juicy beef patty stacked between perfectly grilled toast. Part BLT, part burger, all delicious.

Or for a fun 1949 Burger Bar post:

Somewhere between a BLT and a cheeseburger, something beautiful happened. 🥑🥓🍔

Crispy bacon. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Creamy avocado. A juicy burger patty. All tucked between thick slices of grilled toast.

We’re not sure if it’s a burger pretending to be a BLT or a BLT that got promoted, but we’re here for it.
