Dolly gave so much to Tennessee, and all that she did for this state and its communities will be felt for generations.

We’ve been proud to support the Imagination Library over the years, helping provide free books each month to children in our community from birth to age five, and we’ll continue supporting the work she started and the legacy she built.

Ever wonder what goes into your pint before it hits the glass? 🌾🍺 Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at one of our brewers clearing out the mash tun. AKA where the reel beer making magic begins.

We’re doing this right now to prep for our newest brew: Oktoberfest. We mix crushed barley with hot water to create the sugar we need, then we have to manually shovel out all the heavy, leftover grain to get the tank ready for the next batch.
In short: the mash tun is where grain becomes sugar, and sugar becomes beer. 🍻

The name isn’t an accident.

Strawberry Alley got its name because this street was built straight through the strawberry patch of Lucinda Elder, wife of Clarksville’s first mayor, back in 1820. Lawyers set up offices here. The street was renamed, then restored.

We named our flagship beer 1820 for a reason. Clarksville’s history runs right through this place, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🍺
