Come out and enjoy one of our over 20 flavors of hand dipped ice creams, specialty shakes, sundaes, floats, coolers, smoothies and especially our famous traditional or create your own banana splits! We are located on the banks of the Ohio River, just west of the 2nd Street Bridge, across from Ashland Park and on the Ohio River Greenway by The Falls of the Ohio.

JUNE HOURS! Our Hours for June are 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day except for Wednesdays each week when we are closed (and with the exception of Monday, June 1 when we will open at 4:00 pm instead of 2:00 pm). As always, being an outdoor walk-up shop, the weather can affect these hours. When that's the case, we'll post any change in hours here and on OUR Google business page. These are the only two reliable sources for our hours (random internet searches will more than likely result in incorrect information).

If you have a large group and would like to visit us outside of our normal business hours, call and leave us a message and we'll get back with you to make arrangements.

FINALLY, the rain is gone and we’re in for a beautiful weekend! We’ll be OPEN TODAY (Thursday, 5/28) our normal time of 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Hope to serve you soon!

CLOSED TODAY (Tuesday, 5/26). Will this continuous rain ever stop?!!! As we’ve mentioned before, being an outdoor walk-up shop, days like today cost us more to open than it does to stay closed, so we look forward to seeing everyone Thursday (we’re always closed on Wednesdays) when the weather is SUPPOSED to be lovely the entire weekend! 🤞

SCHEDULE CHANGE! Due to the continuous rain forecasted for our exact location between now and 3:30, we will OPEN AT 4:00 PM TODAY (Sunday, 5/24) instead of 2:00 pm.

IN ADDITION, our previously posted schedule for Monday (Memorial Day) was incorrect. We will be open our “normal” hours of 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm instead of 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

OPEN TODAY (Saturday, 5/23) from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm! Based on the forecast, at our location, there’s a possibility of a pop-up storm right when we open, but after that the chances are good for no rain 🤞. It will be a cloudy day, BUT, ice cream is good ANYTIME! Hope to serve you soon!

Well, this is what I was referring to in the post from yesterday. Based on this weather forecast for our exact location, it appears it will rain continuously for 3 of the 4 hours we’re open, so, we will be CLOSED TODAY (Friday, 5/22) and will keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Well, it looks like it may be a wet and/or cloudy weekend, but, it’s MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND and every celebration should include ice cream; so, rain or shine, we’ll be OPEN our regular hours (Thurs., 5/21, from 4p to 8p, Fri. 4p to 9p, Sat. 2p to 9p, Sun. 2p to 8p AND special hours on Monday (Memorial Day) of 2p (instead of 4) to 8p. Hope to serve you soon (even if it is between the rain drops)!

P.S. In the event of threatening weather, or if it’s obvious there will be no lettimg up of continuous, steady rain, we may close early on any given day, so be sure to check this page for any updates before you head our way!

UPDATED 5/10 @ 1:00 pm:

After the “typical” closing we had last night (getting out of here an hour or more after our heavily advertised closing time because of all the “last minute” customers), I’ve decided to CLOSE TODAY for the first time in the nearly 10 years I’ve been here, so I can spend time with my grown children on Mother’s Day…and based on last night, I’m not willing to take the chance on being late to my dinner with them.
