🎂✨ SOME SWEET CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE COTTAGE CAKERY! ✨🧁

As The Cottage Cakery continues to grow, so does the demand for our custom cakes and specialty desserts! ❤️

With more and more of our time dedicated to creating beautiful cakes and treats for birthdays, weddings, and special celebrations, we've decided to shift our focus to custom orders and made-to-order desserts for the time being!

🍪 What does this mean for our storefront?

We'll be discontinuing our daily grab-and-go pastry case and regular walk-in shopping hours as well as DoorDash.

But don't worry — The Cottage Cakery isn't going anywhere! 🥰

🎂 We'll continue accepting custom cake and dessert orders.

🧁 Your favorite cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and other goodies will still be available to order in advance.

📍 We'll remain at our current location, with pickups available by scheduled appointment.

🍂 And you can still look forward to seasonal specials, holiday preorders, and occasional pop-ups!

This change will allow us to dedicate more time and attention to our custom creations while continuing to provide the quality and care that goes into every order.

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported our little storefront, and we're excited to see where this next chapter takes us!

Same Cottage Cakery, just a little more custom-made! ❤️🎂

Thank you for growing with us!

🖤🥀 **Moody, Dark Romance Meets Decaying Elegance** 🥀🖤

Not every wedding cake is meant to be traditional, and we LOVE when a couple lets us get a little creative!

This stunning two-tier wedding cake was inspired by a moody, dark romance aesthetic, with an abstract design that embraces the beauty of imperfection.

The ivory buttercream features intricate vintage piping that appears to be melting, dripping, and slowly falling apart. Paired with deep burgundy florals, delicate daisies, and touches of greenery, the result is beautifully dramatic, romantic, and just a little haunting. 🥀

And let me tell you... making a cake look like it's melting on purpose is a LOT harder than it looks! 😂 There's definitely an art to making something look beautifully undone.

This was such a fun design to bring to life, and the best part? The bride absolutely LOVED it! 🥹❤️

We love creating wedding cakes that reflect each couple's unique personality and vision. Who says wedding cakes have to follow the rules?

🖤 Would you choose a dark, romantic wedding cake like this?

🎂✨ A little look back at one VERY busy week!

Last week was absolutely packed with orders, and our kitchen stayed busy from start to finish! 😅 Between the baking, frosting, piping, decorating, boxing, pickups, and deliveries, we created so many cakes and treats.

Here are just a few of our favorite creations from the week! 🥰

One of the coolest parts of weeks like this is seeing just how different every order is. Different themes, colors, celebrations, and ideas — all coming through the same little bakery. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who trusted us to be a small part of your celebrations last week. We may have been exhausted by the end of it 😂, but seeing everything finished and heading out the door makes it worth it!

Now the important question…

👀 Which one is your favorite?!

🐢🍕 INSPIRATION ➡️ OUR CREATION

Sometimes the assignment is simple: “I want this…but make it for my celebration!” 🎂

For this one, Aiyana took the inspiration and recreated the fun Ninja Turtle design in our own style — bright green buttercream, bold piping, that iconic red mask, and one VERY happy turtle. ❤️💚

We love seeing how an inspiration photo transforms once it hits our decorating table!

Have a cake idea saved on your phone that you've been waiting for an excuse to order? 👀 Send it our way! We love taking your inspiration and turning it into **your cake.** 🎂✨

🎃🍂 A little Fall & Halloween throwback! 👻🧡

We took a trip through the camera roll and found some of our favorite spooky, cozy, and downright adorable cakes from seasons past — and we just HAD to bring them back out! 🎂

From pumpkins and fall colors to all things creepy and cute, this is such a fun time of year to get creative in the kitchen.

And now we want to know…

👻 Which one is YOUR favorite?

✨ INSPIRATION ➡️ OUR CREATION 🎂

One of our favorite parts of creating custom cakes is seeing the inspiration our customers bring us — and then turning it into something made especially for their celebration. 💕

For this three-tier beauty, we recreated the delicate vintage piping and whimsical hand-piped wildflowers and vines, carrying the design across every tier. 🌸🌿

The inspiration gives us the vision…then we get to bring it to life in buttercream. 🥰

We love how this one turned out!

Have a cake saved to your Pinterest board or camera roll that you’ve been dreaming about? Send it our way — we’d love to create our version for your next celebration. 🎂✨
