Hello—warm greetings to all our customers. Today, I am here to clarify exactly what happened. I am the sister of Angel, the owner of the restaurant. On Tuesday, April 21st, Angel received a phone call around 8:00 AM; it was one of his employees, who had been detained by the police for no reason whatsoever. Angel went to try to help his employees, but when he arrived, he was detained himself—without being allowed to speak or given any kind of explanation—and was taken directly into ICE custody. All of this information was provided to us by Angel himself, the restaurant owner. He also told us that he and all his employees had been reported by an individual, as the authorities went straight for the owner and his staff. We are coming forward to set the record straight because we have heard all kinds of speculation. One rumor circulating suggests that illicit items were present in the restaurant—something that is completely baseless. The only things ever found in that restaurant were food and God's blessings. Please refrain from making speculations about matters you know nothing about. His lawyer is now handling the case, and—God willing—he will be released very soon and will resume running the business. He did nothing wrong; his only intention was to try to help his workers. Blessings to all.
