As I reflect on my experiences, I am reminded of the numerous times I have provided support to others during their times of need, whether it be due to illness or misfortune. I have always been eager to offer assistance, asking what I can do to help. Now, as I navigate my own journey with Hospice Care, I have noticed a significant decrease in communication from others, with few phone calls or texts inquiring about my well-being or offering support. While I understand that individuals are busy with their own concerns, I believe it is essential to take a moment to check in. I would like to extend my gratitude to Linda Harmon for ensuring my lawn is maintained and to Rob and Toni Starman for providing me with delicious meals during this challenging time. So do to this I must announce that we will be closing The Bluffs Restaurant in Clarksville Missouri for good. Love you all and thanks for your support.

Several individuals have expressed interest in my well-being and recent developments. I am currently at home, and my healthcare team has transitioned my care to Palliative Care.

Last Thursday was one of the most harrowing days of my life, and I am forever indebted to the Clarksville Volunteer Fire, Pike County EMS, and AirVac Med Flight for their selfless dedication, which saved my life.
