Roast Retreat 2026- the only photo I managed to get. We had such an amazing time nerding out on coffee, talking to so many new people, seeing friends we haven’t seen in a long time and finally meeting others in real life— emily potter & Amélie Boulanger with washedupcoffee put on an amazing event, as usual! We are forever grateful for the coffee community in Michigan, it’s such an awesome group to be a part of.

Update on the buildout of our coffee shop progress- we are finishing tearing everything out, and starting this weekend, we will start to put everything back together. Walls are going up next week to create a total separate space from the rest of the building.

We started the demo on our new space in Lake Orion, inside Lake Orion Sports Center — the former Basketball America. We are taking over the cafe space only, doing majority of the work ourselves and putting up walls so it will be a separate space from the rest of the building. The new owners of the building are completely redoing the rest of the space, and we cannot wait to see it all come together.
