The Chef’s Counter at Burnt Hill Farm has been named one of The New York Times’ 50 best restaurants in America.

Reviewed by Eric Asimov, this recognition feels especially meaningful because The Chef’s Counter is the fullest expression of Burnt Hill: Chef Tae .! cooking, ingredients grown and raised on this land, Winemaker Lisa Hinton w**es, and a team that has poured extraordinary care into every detail.

We built this place believing something special could happen when farming, cooking, w**emaking and hospitality were allowed to exist together, in conversation with the seasons.

To our farmers, chefs, team, The New York Times, NYT Cooking, and every guest who has taken a seat at the counter: thank you. Truly.

What an extraordinary honor.

This Labor Day, we’re especially grateful for the people who bring Burnt Hill to life. ❤️

We’re here to cultivate joy around the table through great w**e, food and hospitality. And as we continue to grow, we’re looking for kind, passionate people to join our kitchen and service teams.

If you or someone you know is looking for meaningful work, a great team and a place to grow, come be part of what we’re building.

Send us a DM. We’d love to connect.

We’re incredibly honored to be featured in the September issue of Washingtonian as “the great new vineyard day trip”!! The feature reflects on how our family’s journey at Old Westminster Winery helped put Maryland w**e on the map, and how Burnt Hill is carrying that vision forward through regenerative farming, thoughtful food, and w**es rooted in a true sense of place.

Two farms, one family, and fifteen years of believing deeply in what Maryland w**e can be. We’re proud of where we’ve been—and even more excited about where we’re headed.
Thank you to Madeline Weinfield and Washingtonian for sharing our story. 🤍

“If Old Westminster helped put Maryland w**e on the map, Burnt Hill is drawing a new set of boundaries.”
