We are so excited to announce we received 19 awards for Golden Bean The Americas this past week! Shoutout and congrats to our production team Chase Davis Nissen Tyler Smith for getting these coffees recognized!

Incredibly grateful to Chase our roaster flying out to Colorado and representing Lucky’s, and for working so hard to roast these tasty and amazing coffees. A big thank you to our production team working day in and out to QC and source these coffees as well. We are so proud of you! 💚

Shoutout to our whole team and community for helping us dial and taste these coffees every week with us during our Community Coffee Fridays, too.

We placed 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 17 Bronze out of over 700+ different coffees that were submitted. Thank you Golden Bean for the opportunity to compete with these coffees.

Our events this month in October! This month, our events don’t involve as many classes as we prep some bigger things for you towards winter 😌

BUT we’ve decided to do more community type events that just involve being together. Join us for a few more tastings of our current coffees (and some new!), along with a fun public craft we’re doing every weekend at Lucky’s at our community table.

Bring your own markers or crayons (with some provided), and spend some time with us for the season. 💚☺️

More local events to come, so stay tune. If you have an idea in mind, we’re always open to it! ✨

This past weekend we had our first tasting with our new friends from Tanin Coffee. We had Tom Nyalile, fellow coffee producer, came and showcase coffees from all over Tanzania. He shared with us not only everything about what happens at origin, but had us taste some incredibly unique coffees.

This is what we love and aim for in our Coffee Community Fridays. A time to connect with one another to learn more about coffee in every aspect, over a cup of coffee. Giving our farmers, friends, and people we appreciate a platform to connect is what we’re about. We are grateful for this time and can’t wait to share the next with everyone!

First 10 people to arrive get a free plant propagation from us. This is a free event, and everyone is welcome to join. To be able to participate, you must bring a propagation that is rooting! You also MUST RSVP.

We are so excited for next Friday! On September 25th, Tom Nyalile from Tanin Coffee will be leading our Coffee Community Friday with a special tasting. We are excited as he walks us through tasting Tanzanian coffees from origin, and being able to experience a conversation beyond the cup of coffee we drink.

This event is free, but requires an RSVP in order to attend and participate. RSVP at www.buytickets.at/luckys

Donations are available to be made to Tanin Coffee and their farmers. All proceeds and 100% go to their farmers. Donations are available to be made through our site or in person.

We are so excited to announce the final results from Global Coffee Awards. We’ve been itching and waiting to share with you, and are happy to present 17 awards we took home this past week!!!

We first want to shoutout our incredible team for the hard work they did to source, roast, and meticulously taste all these coffees, and a moment to honor our farmers whom we couldn’t be more proud of to showcase their hard work. Shoutout to Chase, Kat, and Tyler for putting in countless hours of work and tasting coffee around the clock. Big thank you to all our farmers, friends, our community, and especially our team for being part of the process of tasting these amazing coffees. We are so happy to share it now with all of you.

We not only got Gold in Espresso for the Overall category, two of our coffees scored in the top 5 coffees for the entire competition!

Our El Diviso Sidra by El Diviso Coffee Farm Adrian Andres Lasso Zuñiga Nestor Neffer Lasso Zuñiga won Gold in Filter and was the 2nd highest scoring coffee in the entire competition! A coffee that we truly are SO proud of.

Our Watermelon Infused Co-Ferment by Julio Cesar Madrid Tisnes Julio Andres Quiceno Café Uba | Finca Milán not only Gold in Espresso for the Overall Category, it scored 3 other awards and 5th best coffee in the entire competition!!

We are also incredibly proud of Jacob Kibiri, with our Kenya Rhino Washed for being a finalist. Developing this close relationship with our farmers and being able to have their coffee win in its very first competition says so much.

Thank you Global Coffee Awards for recognizing these wonderful coffees and to the judges as well for all your hard work tasting all the coffees. We truly are grateful and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Guess who is back? Bagels are back. And even better than before. 💚🤤

We’re excited to soft launch our food program again. Currently only on Saturdays and Sundays, AND this Monday for Labor Day!

We’ve partnered with our friends 42nd Street Bagel Cafe who make our bagels daily and from scratch! We are excited as we bring back something we did a few years ago.

Plain bagels available! As well as our famous Cucumber Everything Bagel. Upgrade to a Pepperoni Pizza Bagel as well 👀

We also have our chia pudding and Greek yogurt cups available for purchase.

Enjoy our soft launch from 7:30am - 2:00pm this weekend. Our kitchen will be open for Labor Day on Monday!
