Pho Lang Thang began like many restaurants do, people missing food from their youth, brothers Bao and Duy Nguyen, along with friend David Le, wanted to bring pho, banh mi, bun and other classic Vietnamese staples to the Cincinnati area, just as the city’s culinary renaissance was beginning to take off. Here they found a quick audience, routinely overflowing the tiny space, gaining new fans weekly,

and even appearing on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Eventually PLT outgrew the space and relocated around the corner to Race Street.

It started with an empty space and a simple goal...bake our own bread.

From there we thought bigger. New pastries. New Vietnamese offerings. Introducing something to Cincinnati the same way we did when we first opened.
