Bee's Barbecue - Madisonville

Bee's Barbecue - Madisonville Craft barbecue in the heart of Cincinnati.

We serve until we sell out - once we are sold out for the day, we close the shop and start prepping for the next day. While we hate to turn people away because the day’s cook has sold out, we only want to serve our customers the best, freshest product.

🚨New Monthly Special!🚨 The Turkey Rachel is a classic sandwich. It has similar elements to a Reuben but instead of corned beef and sauerkraut, the Rachel features turkey and coleslaw. Our smoked turkey is already a favorite of so many but with our Sammy sauce, house made tangy slaw, provolone cheese on rye bread this one is a banger deserving of a spot on the menu. Available at both stores.

Well, here we go…Big ol update from Chandler street… our house ground prime brisket burgers are now available in Madisonville. Fries are still the issue for volume here so for now they are coming with a bag of chips but that’s also reflected in the price. Still slinging your favorite cue, brisket, ribs, turkey, pulled pork and sausages but as we grow we want to get better about integrating all of our offerings at both stores. We take all of your requests seriously and this one has been at the top of the pile. Come in and enjoy what we have always called the “Bowling Alley Burger” : Shrettuce, tomato, pickle, grilled onions, burger sauce and American cheese. Happy Friday!

5 years ago today we opened the shack on Chandler Street. I’m working on finding the appropriate words to express how I feel but for now I’ll just say thank you. Thank you to my friends, my family, everyone that pushed me to take this route. Thank you to everyone who has been so loyal and supportive of us over the years, it’s remarkable how wonderful you all are. Barbecue is and always should be a labor of love, and it really feels good to get that love back from everyone that visits. I’ve got a lot of content to sift through but for now, most importantly I want to just say thank you.

Bad day to be some barbecue.

In the wake of progress, somethings go up as others come down.

If you weren’t one of the many that drove by today, next time you do, you may notice that the area where we house our smokers (Maxine, The Colonial, and Chicken Little) is no longer. This area we referred to as “the pit” has seen some things over the years… a ton of early mornings, quite a few late nights, countless beers, and who knows how many cords of wood. Back when we opened the shack, this was as integral a piece of the picture as running water.

At that point (circa 2020), we wouldn’t have been able to operate without our neighbor at the time’s permission to use the space which became the pit, solidified with a brownie and a handshake, of course.

But the property the pit is attached to recently sold and rightfully so, the new owner wants to use the space for a parking lot for tenants once the renovations on his building are complete.

Needless to say, we knew this day was coming and have had a plan in place. As the community grows, and more and more properties are selling (residential as well as commercial), we look forward to being apart of that growth.

So what does this mean for the day to day on Chandler Street? It’s actually an opportunity. Yes it may cause a little more logistics running smoked meats up from our OTR store to Chandler, but all the sides and desserts will still be made right there. It also allows us the ability to stay open later, serving a group of people that may not have been able to grab some cue before we closed for the day. We are also excited to add Sunday to our hours of operation.

We want to continue to serve the community the best we can with what we have, so currently this is our best path forward. Aside from the free smokey sights and smells that came with coming by the shack, nothing is changing. Still the same wood-smoked barbecue you all have been so supportive of since the beginning.

Thank you so much!

🚨Monthly Special Drop🚨

Some people do resolutions for the new year and respect if you do. I just hope yours doesn’t involve eating less Bee’s because this might hurt..

The pastrami spiced smoked bologna rebuen. Stacked with sauerkraut (slaw on request) Swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing all in between seeded rye. May as well call this one the game changer. Available at both locations, all month long.

After a few days of being “snowed in” we are back to our shenanigans. Both stores are open and we would love to see you. Honestly, regardless if you make it so see us today or this week, if you do go out for lunch or dinner or even order something off of DoorDash please consider a small local restaurant . It’s always the right choice but especially after losing a few days of business. We are here for you! Stay safe and stay warm.

The likelihood of us being closed on Sunday is growing larger by the hour with the amount of snow and cold weather we are expecting. Obviously, grab your essentials.. milk, eggs, fabric softener (IYKYK) but you’ll also want to stock pile some barbecue. Call it in, come visit, clearly it hasn’t started yet. Grab a sack for the weekend because I don’t wanna hear about how you couldn’t get any Saturday evening or Sunday or hell, maybe even Tuesday because you didn’t plan well. So take care of your business. We will have plenty of barbecue provisions at both shops to make this snow emergency less of an emergency. Be safe out there!
