Meet Jake!! One of the servers that makes up our kick-ass team 👍👍

After realizing he was a terrible line cook, Jake took up serving (phewww😅). He believes people connect most with servers who are relaxed, genuine, and personable, and he’s a big part of why so many guests felt at home when dining with us for the past 4 years.

One thing that explains a lot about the energy Jake brings to the dining room: his dream job is actually to be a game show host. And if you know Jake, this makes perfect sense. He’s sarcastic, witty & cool under pressure, a combination that’s especially impressive on a busy Saturday night.

Outside of work, Jake enjoys taking his dog on walks and going to concerts. His current favorite item on our menu is the Pupusa de Guisantes, and he’d be one happy guy if Chef made curry for family meal every day.

Jake wanted to give a shoutout to the people he works alongside every day. Mita’s is a great place to work because of the team & he’s grateful for every one of them. GO TEAM! 💛
