Art has the power to transform communities, just like rescued food.

Join us at Millcroft Gallery on Wednesday, June 17 from 6–9 PM for the Art in Action nonprofit fundraiser, where local artists use their talents to support causes they care about. We're honored that Michael Hensley’s work will be featured in support of La Soupe.

Through this unique exhibition, participating artists have each selected nonprofits to champion, and 40% of every artwork sale goes directly to the artist’s chosen organization. That means when you purchase artwork supporting La Soupe, you’re helping us rescue surplus food, transform it into nutritious meals, and share it with neighbors facing food insecurity.

The evening is also a chance to meet participating nonprofits, connect with fellow community members, and celebrate the impact we can make together.

📣 LA SOUPE IS CLOSED TUESDAY, JUNE 9th 📣

The kitchen is closed and the aprons are off because the whole team is heading to Camp Joy for the day! 🌲🛶

We’re trading our chef knives for campfires and taking some time to bond, recharge, and maybe practice our friendship-bracelet-making skills.

We will be completely closed this Tuesday (tomorrow) so our staff can enjoy this team retreat together. We’ll see you all on Wednesday, fully recharged and ready to cook! ✨

Step inside La Soupe and you’ll find something that looks like chaos, but runs with surprising rhythm.
As our volunteer and guest blog writer, Ramon, puts it, we're less like a traditional kitchen and more like a jazz band improvising in real time to create something impactful.
