We hope to see you Monday in the Memorial Day parade!

Evanston Community Council invites you to participate in its Annual Memorial Day Parade, to help honor and celebrate our veterans and active military service members.

The 2-mile parade will begin at the Evanston Recreation Center (3204 Woodburn Ave.) at 10am on Mon 25 May and continue left on Woodburn Ave., left on Fairfax Ave., left on Evanston Ave., left on Hewitt Ave., and end back at its starting point.

After the parade procession, residents and participants will reconvene at the Evanston Recreation Center for an informative fair and celebration with live entertainment. Refreshments will be available for purchase directly following the parade. All parade participants will receive a free meal ticket.

Proceeds from this year’s parade will support the Evanston Employment Resource Center, the Evanston Walking Club and the Beautification Committee.

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME and everyone loves a clean home! Start your new year off with a warm cup of coffee with neighbors and by pouring into our neighborhood with the first neighborhood cleanup of the year!

Our first monthly neighborhood cleanup of the year is this Saturday!

These events are a great chance to get some exercise and meet neighbors while beautifying where we live. Great for groups!

We’re meeting at 9am on Sat 10 Jan in front of Cream+Sugar Coffeehouse at 3546 Montgomery Rd. in Evanston. Fuel up with a cup of coffee, and please bring work gloves, if you have them.

These cleanup events take place on the 2nd Saturday of every month, and the location rotates among East Walnut Hills, Evanston and Walnut Hills.

This community initiative was started in the Spring of 2019 and has been honored with an award from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful. Our monthly event now attracts individuals and volunteer groups from all over Cincinnati. Join us!
