After taking time away to fully address roofing issues and leaks, we’re excited to share that all repairs are complete and our diner is ready to welcome you back into a safe, comfortable, and refreshed space. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support during this time — it truly means more to us than words can express.

UPDATE:

We installed new floors in the dining room, painted the dining room, rebuilt the kitchen, scrubbed the backroom, and cleaned every single dish. We were ready to stock the freezers and coolers with food and open the doors.

However, the roof is still not fixed and we had more damage occur a few days after Christmas. We cannot make this disaster up. There is water coming through the wall from the gym again. There is also water randomly falling from the ceiling in our back room drenching all the work we have done. Everytime we get "this" close, we get punched in the gut.

For those of you wondering why we haven't opened yet, it's because of this. We have been saying that we will open "next week" or "two weeks" because we have been told over and over that the roof is fixed when it is not.

Mother nature dumped a record breaking amount of snow in the area. We have to wait for her wrath to subside for the roofing company to safely fix the damage.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year! Hopefully 2026 will be better to us!

The landlords are on their fourth roofing company. We are anxiously awaiting repairs so we can open. The roofing company was supposed to start on Monday, December 29. Mother nature had other plans. As soon as we know what is going on, we will post another update. Thank you for your patience.

We are not yet operational. We have recently completed the floor installation. However, we still need to reinstall the border around the perimeter and reattach the toilets in the bathroom. We are addressing additional roof leaks. We are making efforts to progress. Unfortunately, every accomplishment is followed by a setback.

UPDATE: The roof appears to be stable. We can now proceed with the flooring installation. We are coordinating with our flooring contractor to adjust his schedule and install our floor. We did not want to install the floor while the roof was still leaking.

It seems that the project will resume in approximately one week.

UPDATE: We sustained significant water damage. Servpro occupied our diner for nearly a week, utilizing 70 air movers and 15 commercial dehumidifiers.

Unfortunately, the vinyl floors failed to dry adequately. As a result, the existing flooring has been removed and new flooring is on order, with installation anticipated by next weekend.

Regrettably, the roof is STILL leaking. We are hopeful that the roofing company will expedite the necessary repairs.

Assuming prompt resolution, we will proceed with installing new flooring, cleaning up construction debris, scheduling a health department inspection, and reopening our establishment. Barring unforeseen delays, we may be able to resume operations as early as November 12th!
