What does that mean? Don’t worry, I’ll teach ya!! 😉

Every morning before we open our doors, we dial in our espresso machine to make sure every shot is tasting just right. Some mornings it only takes about 5 minutes, while other mornings it can take closer to 20. It all depends on the day and weather (literally)!! 🌅☀️

Dialing in our espresso means adjusting the grind size of our beans and the dose from our grinder until we find the perfect balance. We use 18 grams of ground coffee, adjust the grind until our shots pull for about 18 to 22 seconds, and end up with 36 grams of espresso! ☕️🤎 (This is the recipe we’ve found works best with our coffee beans!!! This might not be the same for other coffee shops!! 🤗)

Fun fact: The weather outside can actually affect how our espresso extracts! Changes in temperature and humidity can affect our coffee and how quickly water flows through the grounds. That’s why we sometimes make small adjustments throughout the day, to make sure your shots are always tasting perfect!! 🌤️

Taking the time to dial in our espresso is one of the biggest reasons why our coffee tastes so good! We always want you to have the best, because you deserve the best!! 🥰☕️🫶🏼
