We are going to start this by saying, thank you to everybody who has supported Us the last four years.
We feel, We just need to address an issue that has been showing up on several social media pages, including Facebook, Yelp and Google.
First and foremost, WE ARE NOT Big Daddy E. We have our own style. We have changed recipes to fit what we want to put out. As the owners of a small business, we try new things, change old things and figure out what works for us and our customers.
We received a Facebook private message from Dan Goodman. I will attach all screen shots to this post. Then, he turned off his messaging so that there could be no further discussion. Then he posted on our facebook post, his assumptions, on post that had nothing to do with the posts contents. Then, we received a Yelp review from a gentleman. Billy, R which was identical to Dan Goodman's comments on our Facebook message and posts. And then yesterday, we received a Google review from Dan Goodman.
We have invited him and his "friend" to come to the restaurant at anytime and watch the process. As of now, he has not taken us up on that offer.
This "gentleman" sells hatched green chilies at Depot 89. As a small business himself, it's very disheartening for him to try and ruin another. Personally the smart thing to do would be to come to us, as we use roasted green chilies in our cornbread, and try and do business with us. Small business helping small businesses.
All we can say is, to each thir own. We can not please everyone. When things go out and are not correct, we make every effort to fix it. But when someone has such a "deep connection" with the previous owner, all we can say is - WE ARE NOT ERIC. If you miss his food that much that you are willing to slander and make up lies on Our business, please go visit him and get your fix.
If you have visited us and were satisfied with our products, service, etc, please take a second and give us a review to combat his slander. Yelp and Google do not allow businesses to have negative reviews removed. The only way to "fix" it is by new true reviews.
