Hello Friends and Neighbors! We will be closing at 2pm this week, from Monday, August 10th through Monday, August 17th, while our evening cook, Paul, is away at a wedding. Thank you for your understanding. Come join us for breakfast or lunch, instead. Thursday - Monday, 8am to 2pm.

An empty pie case is becoming a common scene at Chimacum Café. A recent surge in popularity of our house-made pies, featuring local, organic crust made with Chimacum Valley Grainery fresh pastry flour, has kept us busy baking pie as often as we can. We're working on increasing our pie-baking capacity so we can have all of your favorite flavors available for purchase; by the slice or whole pies. We also take special orders, so you can reserve a pie for a future birthday or event. Thank you for your pie excitement and your understanding when we're sold out of the pie you wanted.

Back by popular demand! Banh Mi Sandwich Special. Thin- sliced, marinated beef, paired with pickled carrots and daikon on a traditional French roll, topped with mild jalapeños. Served with fries and cucumber. Get one for now and one for later. 2pm to 7pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday. $14.99.

Thank you for all the well wishes! Paul is feeling up for cooking today (Monday), so we'll be open until 7pm and we still have about 10 elk burgers left!

Unfortunately, we will be closing early this evening, Sunday July 5th, so our cook can nurse an ankle injury. Please send well-wishes so that that may return tomorrow to finish out or weekend of elk burgers. We have just a few left for tomorrow! We'll be open Monday 8am to 7pm, elk burgers start at 2pm. Thank you.

We've got something really special for this holiday weekend. The Elk Burger Deluxe! A 1/3 pound free-range, grass-fed elk patty served with melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato and onion on a brioche bun with fries! Special meat, special weekend, special price $19.99. Now through Monday, July 6th. From 2pm to 7pm.

Continuing to source local ingredients for the cafe; today we baked a batch of buttermilk biscuits with locally-grown, organic pastry flour from Chimacum Valley Grainery. Rich with flavor and texture, you can catch them on the breakfast menu topped with meat or vegetarian gravy or on their own with a side of butter and jam.

Updates: Our evening cook is away at a wedding this weekend, so we'll be closing at 2pm Friday through Monday. Plan accordingly and bring your dad in for breakfast or lunch! We'll be back to our regular schedule next week. Also, we been working on a gluten-free pie crust and we're ready to sample some. We currently have strawberry-rhubarb for your enjoyment!

Return of the Lemon Merengue! We've been waiting for the longer days to bring back the Lemon Merengue. If you've wanted a slice, come get one now before it deflates. If we can sell out this pie today, we'll start making them regularly. Five slices left as of 10am.
