Official Rules for Slice of the Week

📍 Chico, CA

How to enter: If you received one of our tickets, write a poem or note on the back along with your phone number, and turn it in to the shop. One entry per ticket, per person.

How winners are picked: Each week, the entry judged most interesting or creative wins. This is a skill-based contest. Winners are chosen on the merit of their entry, not by random drawing.

Prize: One free slice for the winner, plus one free slice for a guest of their choice (2 slices total). No cash value; slices can't be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Eligibility: Open to anyone 18+ (or with a parent/guardian's permission) in the Chico area. Employees and their immediate family members aren't eligible.

Entry deadline: Entries must be turned in by close of business each Saturday. A new winner is announced every week.

Winner notification: Winners will be notified using the phone number on their entry. If we can't reach a winner within 7 days, a new winner may be chosen.

Your info: Phone numbers are used only to contact winners and will never be sold or shared.

Other stuff: Tickets have no cash value and can't be purchased. We reserve the right to disqualify incomplete, illegible, or inappropriate entries. Prizes must be claimed in person at our Chico location. Void where prohibited. This contest is not sponsored by or affiliated with CSU Chico, Butte College, or Instagram.

Meet the artists behind the works currently up on our walls! Had a soft opening show last Saturday for the artists to get to mingle and enjoy some pizza! Their works will be on display for the next 30 days so whether you’re stopping in on your lunch break to grab a bite or up partying till 3am, you’ll have some amazing works of art from our local community to look at while enjoying your slice!🍕

Our first Gallery launches today! If you’re Downtown, come on by and support local artists. The idea is to curate a diverse style of works across all medium from artists. You don’t need to have connections or meet stringent requirements. Your artwork goes up and we help promote you for as long as you’re on the wall. A hundred percent commission goes to you. Let’s dedicate a wall to artists from all walks of life who are moms, students, and locals who choose to create after coming back home from work.

For 30 years, our pizza 🍕 was a Downtown Chico late-night secret, available almost exclusively to the midnight crowd.

One 🍅 tomato engineer (no affiliation) with decades of experience in the tomato industry rated the sauce we use as the best in town.

But we’re not trying to compete for the title of “best in town.” Our job is to be there when you need a slice from Noon ’til 3AM 🕒

Just ridiculous!"

Thank you to Action News Now for the opportunity to share our perspective on the parking situation in Downtown Chico. We hope this helps spark a much-needed conversation and encourages the community to work toward a meaningful solution.

We plan to continue offering this promotion for as long as possible. Some customers have joked that it may not be the best business decision and could even run us out of business.

For now, however, you can still bring in your parking ticket and receive a free slice of pizza during lunch hours.

It’s a small way for us to help turn a frustrating situation into a positive experience, and hopefully encourage you to visit Downtown Chico again.
