Getting There & Parking
• Driving: From North Lake Shore Drive, exit at 57th Street. Take your first right on 57th , then an immediate right on Everett then immediate left on 56th st. It is the tallest building in Hyde Park on your right (directly across from The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry). Coming from the south, take a left on 57th Street, then follow the same directions. Ride Share Drop off right in front of builing
• Valet Parking: Available for $10 on a first-come, first-served basis. The building's attached parking entrance is on the Everett side of the street. Just ring the buzzer and tell the attendant you are my guest. You will pay for parking at the event because the staff only accept tips, not parking fees.
• Street Parking: Free, unmetered street parking is available all around the building.
• Public Transit: A CTA bus stop is right outside the building, and the Metra train station is just 3 blocks away.
Perks & Highlights
• Skyline Views: Enjoy a great outdoor deck during halftime with photos of the city.
• Local History: The Penthouse outdoor deck overlooks the new Barack Obama Presidential Center, The Wooded Island Lagoons, and The Japanese garden. In addition you will have views of The Jackson Park Grounds, where "The Viking" arrived for the 1893 Columbian Exposition after sailing across the Atlantic from Norway to Chicago. It was moored here in the Jackson Park lagoon after the fair thru 1920 and also stored in this park for many years and in Lincoln Park before finding its current home in Geneva Illinois. What to Bring
• Flags: Bring a Norwegian flag if you have one! We Might have to do the Viking Row:). Dress: Super casual. Any Norway shirts or colors are great, or come as you are!
• Food & Drink: Bring any specific treats or drinks you would like to have or share. There is a full kitchen for storage.
• Guests are welcome! Just please RSVP so we can prepare.

• Running Late? Don't worry if you are rushing from a prior engagement—we will have snacks and drinks ready for you, so just bring yourself!
