Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp has been Chicago’s favorite place for fried seafood for more than 70 years. Open 24 hours, it’s also one of Chicago’s favorite spot for late night eats. Some items from the original menu are still proudly served to this day – Shrimp, Perch, Frog Legs, Chicken and, of course, its original hot sauce. Still family-owned, it now has four locations throughout greater Chicagoland. The restaurant is often recognized as a must-visit for great food and friendly service.

Mile 21 at Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp. 🏃🏾‍♂️

The 48th Chicago Marathon took over the city, and we had a front row seat. Over 55,000 runners, 29 neighborhoods, and a whole city cheering for strangers like they were family.

By Mile 21, legs are tired and the finish line still feels far away. But every runner who passed our door kept pushing, and every person on the sidewalk kept cheering them forward.

To everyone who participated, volunteered, or came out with a sign: Chicago is proud of you. Go refuel. You earned it. 🍤
