Today marks 45 years of Café L'Appetito. 🍝🇮🇹🍕

On October 12, 1981, a small Italian grocery store took a chance on a new corner of Chicago. Four and a half decades later, we're still family run, still serving the same recipes that started it all.

All week, Monday through Friday, it's 45% off a different item each day:
Mon: Italiano Sub (the original) | Tue: Any Coffee Drink | Wed: Diavolo Sub | Thu: Any Coffee Drink | Fri: Genoa (Genoa salami, provolone)

Born in Italy. Made in Chicago. 🍕🇮🇹🍝

In 1981, on Columbus Day, a little Italian grocery store from the Northwest Side took a chance and moved into a brand new high-rise at 30 East Huron. People called it a pioneering venture. We called it home.

Over four decades later, that corner became our neighborhood, and our neighborhood became Chicago's. Founder Anthony Spatara's vision is still what guides every sandwich we build and every espresso we pull today.

45 years in, we're just getting started. This week, we're looking back at where it all began. Swipe through for a piece of our story.
