In solidarity to our community. La Raza unida nunca será vencida! ✊

This is a reminder, the owners, Efrain & Julia Flores, of your favorite taqueria started out as MEXICAN IMMIGRANTS.

They poured their soul, sweat, blood and tears in this business for a better life.

They risked their lives and left their family behind so their 4 children could have a quality education, a safe home, a loving childhoods and a chance to achieve the American Dream.

They succeeded.

Ask yourself would you have the strength and courage to leave everything behind for a better life? For yourself? Your children?

To our patrons, who have supported this restaurant for generations - GRACIAS! We will be open tomorrow (2/4/25) regular hours.

Since Monday (01/20/25) Taqueria El Asadero (and probably all other latino/ hispanic businesses) has been bombarded with racist weirdos calling in.

Today an individual called saying all sort of ignorant s**t and hung up - so I called him back. 💅
I asked him if I can help him with anything.
All he could say was "f**k you and because I said so". 🙄 🥱

Not knowing who we are and the work we have done for our community. In some sort of way I pity the person- not only for being weird (and probably ugly) but also full of hate and anger. It must suck to live a life like that! Imma pray 🙏 for him.

This is not the first time nor the last. We are no strangers to the racial disparity in this nation. I can tell you STORIES of all the racist encounters my father had to endure when he first came to America, and when he opened Taqueria El Asadero years after. With the current political climate some of these weirdos believe their behavior is very Christian and appropriate. 😒😑

So in response to all the racist - We are
NOT going anywhere. We WILL open
MORE mexican restaurants + businesses.
We will flaunt our heritage, we WILL speak our native tounge and take up space in ALL places - because as Americans (by the grace of God and the AMERICAN CONSTITUTION) we can and you can't stop US!

With this said, I ask my community to help GROW a better society for the future of all generations to come. We can start by understanding these issues, listening, and setting aside our differences.

As well as supporting ALL LATIN@ OWNED BUSINESSES, not just today or this week but EVERY SINGLE DAY because America was build by immigrants.

Happy Mother's Day 🤱🏻💕to all the mama out there but specially my mom.

Everyone thinks my dad 👨🏻is the 🧠 behind Taqueria El Asadero but that man has ADHD 😵‍💫(me too, thanks dad) and his life (and mines) would be in shambles 😩 if it wasn't for her.
