This week, the family of our head chef, Pete, was struck by an unimaginable tragedy. Pete’s 15-year-old nephew, Jack, was involved in a serious vehicular accident while riding his bike. He was airlifted to Chicago with a severe brain injury and is currently in a medically induced coma.
Jack has a long road ahead, including ongoing rehabilitation and significant medical expenses. As a family, we want to do everything we can to support Pete and his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
A GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden and give Jack and his family the support they need as they navigate the days ahead. If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean so much. If you’re unable to give, sharing the fundraiser is just as meaningful.
Our community has always shown us what it means to take care of one another. Now, we have an opportunity to return that love to one of our own.
