Ours began much earlier — in a kitchen, in Milan, in 1943.
What started with a passion for Italian food, family, and gathering around the table traveled across generations and eventually found a home in Chicago.

Today, the kitchen may look different. The city may be different.
But the feeling remains the same.

Let me take your coat. Your table is ready.

We’ll start you with a glass of w**e, bring out something warm from the kitchen, maybe a beautiful pasta, fresh seafood, something slow-cooked and comforting.

Outside, Chicago can rain all it wants. In here, we’re having dinner.

Warm plates, good w**e, Northern Italian cooking and nowhere else you need to be tonight.

There’s just something about dinner outside at Riccardo Trattoria.

A table full of pasta, seafood, beautiful cuts of meat, a glass of w**e, and that little vintage patio tucked into Lincoln Park.

For a couple of hours, Chicago starts feeling a little more like Italy.

Come hungry. Stay awhile.

There’s a little Northern Italy happening right here in Lincoln Park.

Outdoor tables filling up, w**e catching the evening light, beautiful plates making their way out of the kitchen, and service that somehow makes dinner feel like an occasion.
