Ferment your face right into some fresh fuego!

We're pouring with joy over our latest experiment: Catuai fermented with Cashmere hops!

After procuring some Humulus lupulus from our friends at (who use this particular hop in Bodem) we proceeded to reanimate them with hydration before bathing freshly pulped coffee in some green goodness!

The result is a sweet and slightly tropical cup with notes of nectarine, butterscotch and anise!

Our coffee seeds are germinating just in time for spring! Lots of varieties here and we have no clue what we are going to do with them yet. Any ideas??

A great photo illustrating how the coffee you drink are actually seeds we roast and brew! Coffee is a unique fruit - harvested to consume the pit and discard the pulp. Excited to see these little cuties grow up to be full blown coffee trees!

DMC and fellow Chicagoans have teamed up to release a special 12oz coffee tin in celebration of BCMB's new album "Irreversible" which comes out TODAY, Friday March 13th!!!

Before embarking on their European tour (which is now fully underway) the band came to visit us at the Mothership for a tasting to select the components for this blend. The result is a fudgey and toasty mug of coffee strong enough to take the sun right out of the sky!

For every woman who chooses to be the heroine of her own story, we celebrate YOU!!!

International Women's Day is this Sunday, March 8th. To commemorate this day, we present Heroine!

The Peruvian Las Damas in this year's Heroine showcases coffee grown by women in the northern part of the country, offering support and encouragement to these female producers in what can be a male-dominated industry.

For every bag sold, we will be donating $5 per bag to the Women's Business Development Center, whose mission is to support and accelerate business development and growth, targeting women and serving all diverse business owners, in order to strengthen their participation in, and impact on, the economy.
