01/30/2026
January 30th, 2026 there is a national shutdown in support of battling the injustice currently happening in our country.
At 5 Rabanitos, we will remain open. As a small business, closing during the slow season is not something we are able to do at this time. However, staying open does not mean we are staying silent.
As a Hispanic-owned business, we have been deeply affected. Our staff, our families, and our customers are living with uncertainty—uncertainty about coming to work, about feeling safe, and even about coming out to eat. These realities impact us every day.
We want to be clear: we stand with our community. We stand against injustice, and we stand for dignity, safety, and human rights.
To do our part, 5 Rabanitos will be donating funds to the Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights ( ) to support those most affected and to help in any way we can.
Together, through unity, resilience, and community support, we will get through this.
