As we only have a few weeks left exploring the US, we wanted to share a little slice of home: the Chicago Style Hotdog and homemade Giardiniera. Which did you know, Italian immigrants brought this pickled vegetable mix to Chicago, where it became extremely popular.

Our after-school program keeps kids engaged, builds confidence, and gets them excited to show up (yes…even on Mondays 😅). We cook real food, learn real skills, and create a positive relationship with food early on.

We hosted my kids Middle School for Exploratory Day - 20 kids made a French apple cake with Creme Anglaise. It was SO fun to see how these older kids totally dominated the instructions. And their cakes were delish!! Exploratory Day is so special - kids join groups (often meeting all new students from other grades) and explore the city!!
