One of my young employees Will was struggling to carry multiple plates, so I stepped in to teach him. His first response was, “I can’t do it!”
I told him, “Yes, you can! You’re capable of much more than you think!”
A few minutes later, he had learned a new skill and was smiling proudly. 😊
Sometimes, all we need is someone to believe in us until we learn to believe in ourselves. Never underestimate what you’re capable of!

Hello everyone!
A big thank you to our friends at Olive & Herb Co - Cheyenne, and Promise for bringing over a bunch of Italian gelato for my wife and the kids to taste!
They just got it in stock, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a hit! After all, who doesn’t love good Italian gelato?
Even our baby girl was kicking in agreement from inside Mom’s belly! 😂❤️
I guess we already have another gelato lover in the family!

Good morning, everyone!
Last night, after almost six months, I finally took my beautiful wife out on a date.
The summer was crazy busy, and between the restaurant, being exhausted, and getting our house and everything ready for our baby, we simply kept putting it off.
It felt really good to just slow down for a few hours and spend some time together.
And I have to confess something… I’ve been away from dating my own wife for so long that I completely forgot to bring her flowers. 😂 I am going to fix that today and buy her a big bouquet of flowers 💕😃

Today, while I was making dough for tomorrow, two service members stopped by Mondello.
We are closed on Mondays, but I could tell they were hungry, so I offered to make them a pizza even though we were closed. I didn’t want them to leave hungry.
They politely thanked me and said they would come back another day, then headed out.
As I watched them leave, I thought about something I had seen yesterday while going through our records from last year. In 2025, we gave more than $34,000 in military discounts at Mondello.
Seeing those two men today reminded me how meaningful that is to me.
I’m genuinely proud that, as a company, we are able to show our appreciation in our own small way to the men and women who serve our country.
We can never fully repay the sacrifices they make, but we can always say thank you.
To all of our service members, past and present:
Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. And thank you for helping protect our freedom and the American way of life.
You will always be welcome at our table. ❤️🇺🇸
