As a marine corps combat veteran I know what it is like to lose people, this year I am being supported by here in Idaho as I share about Honorguard Coffee and how I donate to other veteran nonprofits for mental health support and now to fund a ranch to help address the mental health crisis in veterans.

All my life I knew I wanted to be a warfighter. And I was. For 10 years I dedicated myself to defending this country i love dearly. When I finally put down the iron, I picked up hammer and steel to become a cowboy and farrier. Im no longer focused on destruction, but what I can build back together. So nowadays i spend my time doctoring cows and building this coffee company with my best friend Steven. It’s nice to put something back together.

You’d think as a marine corps combat veteran that it would be fairly straightforward and easy to get a service dog. Unfortunately that wasn’t my experience so I am building something to make sure no other veteran has to go through the struggle I did to get the help I needed to recover from my mental health crisis. I am building a veterans program here in the treasure valley that will have service dog training, vocational training, housing support mental health resources, agricultural therapy, and it’s all gonna be built as part of a working ranch so in addition to support the veteran community it will preserve the areas agricultural roots.
