📣 Lola’s Family Restaurant Schedule Update! ❤️

We’ll be OPEN today, Tuesday, August 18 from 7:00 AM–2:00 PM, closing just a little early!

Just a heads-up for today !! it’ll be my husband and my pregnant self handling the front end, so we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding if things take us a little longer than usual. ❤️

After today, we’ll be taking a small family vacation while my sister comes in from Texas to spend some time with us and check in on me and the pregnancy.

💙 We’ll also be taking care of a few prenatal appointments since baby boy is already measuring on the bigger side, and enjoying some extra family time before baby Uli starts a new routine and some exciting new things next week. 🥹❤️

CLOSED: Wednesday, August 19 through Saturday, August 22 🚨

We’ll be back Sunday, August 23 bright and early at 7:00 AM! ☀️🍳☕️

Good morning, Lola’s family! ❤️

Just a heads-up for today — we had a call-in this morning, so we’re a little short staffed. It’ll be Ulises and my pregnant self working the front of the house today 🤰😂

We’re OPEN and ready to serve you, but please be patient with us if there’s a little bit of a wait during the busy rushes. We’ll be moving as quickly as we can and doing our best to take care of everyone.

Just a friendly heads up that we’ll be closing today at 2:00 PM so we have enough time to close down before heading to a doctor’s appointment at 3:30 PM.

Today we’re celebrating someone who holds such a special place in our hearts.

When our family first moved to Chester, you and Bob welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we belonged. Moving somewhere new can be overwhelming, but your kindness, friendship, and genuine hearts made this little town feel like home from the very beginning.

Holli, thank you for always being so caring, supportive, and for being the wonderful person you are. It’s people like you who make this community so special, and we feel incredibly lucky to call you our friend.

We hope your birthday is filled with love, laughter, good health, and all the happiness you deserve. May this next year bring you countless blessings and beautiful memories with those who love you most.

🌻 A Little Heads Up, Lola’s Family! 🌻

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 23, we’ll be closing at 2:00 PM so we can make it to a dentist appointment here in town. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

As many of you already know, Baby Uli is going to be a BIG BROTHER! 🥹💙 With our newest little sunflower on the way, life has been a little busier (and a little slower! 😅).

Mondays are our only day off, but between pregnancy appointments, regular doctor and dentist visits, errands, paperwork, and everything that comes with running a family restaurant, we simply can’t always fit it all into one day. Every now and then, we have to schedule appointments during the week, which means closing a little earlier than normal.

We know we’ve had a few early closures and even a couple of unexpected days closed this year, and we can’t thank you enough for the grace and patience you’ve shown us. Running Lola’s while growing a tiny human is no small task, and one of us is carrying a little extra precious weight these days, so things don’t quite move at the speed they used to. ❤️

Thank you for supporting not just our small business, but our growing family as well. Your understanding means more to us than you’ll ever know.

We’ll see everyone bright and early Friday morning! 🌻💛 7am!! 🕖

☀️ Friendly Summer Reminder from Lola’s Family Restaurant ☀️

We get asked all the time why we don’t serve dinner during the summer, especially since it’s one of our busiest times of the year.

The simple answer is: our kitchen gets EXTREMELY hot.

If you’ve been to Lola’s, you’ve probably noticed our kitchen is right out front, there isn’t a separate back kitchen. On top of that, we have a large oven running in the back, along with our charbroiler and flat top that have been going since 7:00 AM every day.

Our mini-split A/C units do their best to keep the dining room comfortable for our guests, but they can only do so much. The kitchen and prep area become incredibly hot, and unfortunately swamp coolers and fans just can’t keep up.

Many summer days, we’re pushing ourselves just to make it until 3:00 PM when we’re busy from open to close. With one of us being pregnant, we also have to think about our health and the well-being of our staff.

We truly appreciate everyone who asks about dinner service and supports us. We know some of you would love evening hours, and we hope you understand why we choose not to during the hottest months of the year.

We promise to bring back dinner hours when it begins to cool off again for us here at Lola’s. 😊
