Congratulations to the Bo Manor May Staff and Student of the Month!

The student of the month is Samantha Singley. Samantha comes to every class with a positive attitude and a smile. She takes her time with her assignments to truly consider her responses. Samantha is respectful to those around her, responsible for herself, and ready to take on her senior year!

The High School Staff Member of the Month is Wendy Wilcox. Ms. Wilcox is so much to so many. She puts forth great dedication and time making sure all the Senior students have everything they need for graduation. She spends so much time organizing senior activities in the month of May and making sure graduation runs smoothly. She always works with a smile and is always pleasant to everyone. Ms. Wilcox is AMAZINGLY awesome! She does so much and is so dedicated to the students of BMHS! She is amazing all year long, but she always goes above and beyond in May handling a gazillion little fires. Ms. Wilcox helps keep us all sane and laughing in the guidance office. She is our “go to gal” for questions and does so much for this school. We are so fortunate to have her. She is a rockstar! Thank you, Ms. Wilcox, for everything!

This month we are honoring two BMMS icons who are closing out their careers with CCPS!
Mr. Sandy Grimes has dedicated 40 years to his math students and basketball players, impacting the lives of students through academics, athletics, and leadership. Another middle school basketball coach was so excited to share how what he learned from Mr. Grimes is now being passed onto a new generation of students at another CCPS school.
Mrs. Jen Mabry departs this year after 11 years at BMMS and 30 total years with CCPS. She spent her career crafting lessons that are targeted toward each student’s needs by implementing her knowledge of the science of reading. There is no doubt that every student she has ever had benefited greatly and surpassed their own expectations.
We wish this dynamic duo all the best and hope they enjoy their well earned retirement!
All winners were awarded a Cafe On The Bay gift certificate to recognize their achievement.
