To all of our dear friends,

It is with much sadness that we feel that we must announce that Rokkos Cheney will not be re-opening.

We have tried tirelessly over the last several months to seek out a management team that could assist with running the Cheney location while we were opening up the CDA location. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. We knew it was a tall order to find responsible people to maintain the quality that we insist for our customers.

For the last two years, we have been seeking another location to place a second Rokkos and when this location became available we knew it was the right fit for us.

It has always been a dream and goal to have a second location, bottle our sauces and have a mobile Rokkos food truck. We believe that the consistency of revenue flow that the CDA location provides will allow us to do this and more.

David and I have had many a good cry over this decision. Cheney is our baby. Cheney will be in our hearts forever. The two of us think of our little store each and every day. We miss our regular customers and the relationships that we had formed.The decision was painfully hard but necessary nonetheless.Change is always hard but not moving forward is even worse.

We would like to invite all of you to come visit us in our new CDA location. Every day we get another visitor from Cheney and we are so thrilled to see an old friendly face. We plan to work very hard to get a mobile truck and visit Cheney for various athletic events, festivals and more.We also hope that in the short future you can find our sauces and mac at your local grocer.

In closing, David and I and Rokko would like to thank Cheney from the bottom of our hearts. We are forever grateful to our loyal customers. Thank you for the opportunity. You are always with us.

To All,
Many questions have been asked as to why we have decided to close throughout the month of December and we felt compelled to answer.

Yes, we are opening another location in CDA.

We didn’t have the staff necessary and freely available during December to run the Cheney operation in a manner that is acceptable to us or our customers. December is historically our worst month and felt that it was the best opportunity for us to dedicate our energy towards the second location.
