A little change of plans for this weekend! 🩷

The Chelsea Community Center Fall Craft Fair has been cancelled, so you won’t find the pink tent there Saturday after all.

I’m sorry you won’t have any bread this weekend, BUT I’ll be opening preorders tomorrow!

I’ll share the menu and pickup details then. I’m excited to get back in the kitchen and get some good bread headed to your tables again.

Our next pickup is Wednesday, September 23, and after that Salt will be taking a little break until Saturday, October 10, when you can find us at the Chelsea Community Fall Craft Fair.

So if Salt is your family’s weekly bread, grab an extra loaf (or two!) for the freezer this week.

Have you wanted to learn sourdough, but it all just seems a little… complicated?

The starter. The feeding. The timing. Stretch and folds. Bulk fermentation. 😵‍💫

I promise, it doesn’t have to feel that way.

Sourdough 101 is September 5th, and this class is truly for the beginner. We’ll spend the day actually making bread together so you can see it, feel it, ask questions, and understand why we do each step.

My hope isn’t that you leave knowing how to make one perfect loaf.

It’s that you leave feeling like, “Okay. I can actually do this at home.”

Because ultimately, sourdough is just a really simple way to make good bread for the people around your table. 🤍
