From Pizza Fire → Curry Heat. 🔥🍛

Dragon Fired is turning a new page.

After spending time building the pizza concept, I realized the food I really wanted to share comes from deeper roots — the flavors I grew up with at home.

I was raised in a family steeped in Okinawan culture, thanks to my southern mom embracing my dad’s culture, and my Obachan Misako, whose labor and traditions shaped our family table. Some of my earliest kitchen memories were helping in the kitchen shaving bonito flakes, learning the joy of cooking and volunteering for every taste test I could get.

Years later I found my way back to Okinawa, living there in my early 20s while teaching ESL — and the food culture only pulled me in deeper.

After nearly 30 years in professional kitchens, it felt right to bring those influences full circle.

So Dragon Fired is evolving into
🐉 Dragon Fired Curry Co.

Bold curries.
Street food energy.
Comfort flavors from the family table.
